Women in Business Vs Men
We know that women entrepreneurs are different than men in the business, but how they are different and different is really a bad thing?
Men control the economy, keep more senior positions and influential men than women and men are better paid. So why do women even bother? I am a woman, and I'm in the business, and I do not worry or even think that men in positions or how they do it.
In the business of my biggest concerns are how to make transactions and ridiculously successful, but to live life on my terms. Do not get me wrong, I am competitive, but the competition begins with me and moves on companies that are in my market.
In sport, if you're a basketball player to tryout for the football team? They are both athletes, but football and basketball are very different and you do not have to be good to be good at another.
Why should a woman will try a man, what should we do with others? The competition is not between men and women between your company and competitors.
The author of "What Men Do not Tell About Business", Chris Fletcher, believes that women are missing the boat not studying successful business people to learn from them, and by holding them.
Mr Flett recently appeared stuck on Donny Deutsch The Big Idea with his new book and take on some pretty opinionated women.
I watched the episode and I must say that not too well Flett was in fact doing it moments where he looked downright scary. So much for the "alpha male" dominates the "submissive women"!
The biggest problem is Flett, that it is naive, making him seem condescending. I give him the benefit of the doubt here, really, it could only happen at a loss, or worse, a pompous ass, but let us simply with good intentions in a way to go through today.
Flett portrays women as weak in all possible ways, but the demographic it to promote women to get the strength, where they are now and have to help only the next stage is needed. Newsflash Chris you wrote this book for women to learn and yet you know everything you do to women?
Chris has contributed to The Big Idea Blog of the show, and there are some points that I find interesting, we check and discuss … we go?
If a woman says: "It is us against them, I do not need to know what people think, you know that at some point in her past, she was excluded from the meeting and must not be happy about it.
How to think like a man? Personally, I'm not with matters such as war, where there is war there are riots and deal with many victims, I am not looking at my company.
I do not need to know what people think I need to know what to think successful entrepreneurs, and then I have this in who I am and how I do things to take.
A guest said she could not "left the meeting room to get his own company." Be aware, as we have discussed today, is only in the meeting room available, but some are so angry about past experiences, which they ignore and refuse to hear for themselves what is offered.
Chris, Chris, Chris – you make the sound like a bad thing! A woman who has to try his own successful business instead of someone else chooses to do is to create inspiring words is not too low. If I am not in this Chamber would then you're damn right I am my own.
Work on your weaknesses, but play your strengths, that is how you win the game. Chris do you have the same opinion of Steve Jobs, if he is not heard in the boardroom of Apple and its own way in 1986? I think not.
There is an area that is I agree with Mr Chris Fletcher and the knowledge is power, you have brought up, taught, and never afraid to learn from others, be they men or women. I'm not interested in reading this book and it is not that it makes no good points, but that there are other books that he would give more value to me.
People have to learn to choose and sharp business sense to integrate into your business to your industry, the business model will be done, and ultimately your goals.
I say Flett seems to its simplicity and the female in the field of economy spread to the proposal that all meeting rooms are the same.
Fortunately, all the men and women are not equal, Warren Buffet and Donald Trump are two very successful, but I bet they are very different in the meeting room. Martha Stewart, Susie Orman, Oprah and all the women a great success and how do you feel like they are in the boardroom?
I know I could get all five people, but what would I choose to take any, would depend on who I am and what I want.
Business is not about compliance, it is about inspiration, innovation and just getting out there and do it. Mentors are important, but they are not to be derived from clones.
So by all means go there and learn from others, there is no reason to reinvent the wheel, but remember that you are in the process.
